Propper started out in 1967 as a manufacturer for the U.S. military, supplying the iconic “Dixie Cup” uniform hats for sailors. Since then, we've provided over 160 million garments to the U.S. Department of Defense – more than any other manufacturer.

Our heritage informs how we operate. We are a retail brand, but don't believe in gimmicks or marketing ploys. Our clothing, boots and gear are designed by experts to keep you comfortable, professional-looking, and safe in the field. We manufacture most of our items right here in the U.S., and frequently update our inventory to meet the evolving needs of the professionals who trust us.
